evōke began in Cambridge, where our two founders met as students — one from Asia, one from Europe. Different cultures, the same restless rhythm of long days and late nights, and the same idea: that East and West could meet in a single can.

She came from Asia, he came from Europe — and like most students, they kept reaching for drinks that promised to keep them going. Energy drinks tasted artificial and overly sweet. Coffee was quick, but came with the jitters and the crash.
They wanted something that felt different. Refreshing enough for everyday life, but rooted in nature rather than a lab.

For her, the answer came from matcha — never just caffeine, but a ritual of presence and intention, whisked by hand for centuries.
For him, the question was how to make that ritual feel modern and effortless. In Europe, sparkling water is crisp, social, easy to enjoy all day. So they asked: what if Eastern tea culture met Western refreshment?
